blah

What a joke these guys are.
Anyway – continuing in this rich vein of stonking electro that I’ve been privy to recently, here’s some more bangers for your aural pleasure. Nothing but quality.
First up – Major Laser. The blogosphere has been going mad for these guys (Diplo and Switch) lately. You can see why with this tune. Bigness.
Major Lazer - Pon De Floor (Feat. Vybz Kartel)
Much hype surrounded this song, mainly due to it featuring on the Boyz Noise blog. A huge rising synth sweeps upwards until the hairs on the back of your neck stand on end. When it drops it kind of sounds a bit like old school dirty electro house, squelchy and bleepy. But don’t let this put you off because D.I.M. incorporates one of the oldest tricks in the book to turn this into a dancefloor destroyer. I’ll lay it out in it’s official mathematical formula. The tunes drops; kick drum + bass. 8 bars later; kick drum + bass + snare. Another 8 bars later; kick drum + bass + snare + cheeky hi-hat + you stomping. Done. Einstein eat your heart out.
Shad0w Dancer are dirtbags. This remix of Zombie Nation is a late night / afterparty dancefloor destroyer. What more could you want?
Zombie Nation – Mystery Meat Affair (Shadow Dancer Remix)
Shinichi Osawa often makes biiiig big tunes – and this is arguably one of his best. I heard it first on The Phantom’s Revenge mixtape (which you can download here) and knew I had to get my mitts on it. Even my girlfriend said she liked it. Unheard of.
Bag Raiders - Turbo Love (Shinichi Osawa remix)
Vitalic has been around since the earth began – but for me has never emulated his AMAZING ‘La Rock 01′. With this Birdy Nam Nam remix he seems to be slowing his tempo down to a more conventional electro bpm. Good effort.
Birdy Nam Nam – The Parachute Ending (Vitalic Remix)
What the heck – have La Rock 01 too. You need it in your life – it’s a classic.
Enjoy mofo’s.
